Jeff Jones advises and represents leading national, state and grassroots environmental and energy policy organizations. His clients include the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Workforce Development Institute, the New York State Apollo Alliance, New Partners for Community Revitalization, and the Land Trust Alliance. He also works with the Healthy Schools Network and the League of Conservation Voters, among others.

Jones serves on the boards of WeAct for Environmental Justice, John Brown Lives!, and the Capital District Chapter of the League of Conservation Voters.

Healthy Schools Network - A national environmental health research, information, education, and advocacy organization headquartered in Albany, New York, that seeks to assure every child and school employee an environmentally safe and healthy school that is clean and in good repair.

Land Trust Alliance - Promotes voluntary private land conservation to benefit communities and natural eco-systems. The Alliance is the national convener, strategist and representative of more than 1,600 land trusts across America. In New York, the Alliance represents over 90 affiliated local conservation groups.

Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy - Founded by area residents in 1992, the Conservancy is dedicated to the protection and stewardship of natural, cultural and scenic areas in the Mohawk Hudson region.

Natural Resources Defense Council - One of the nation’s most effective environmental action organizations, NRDC uses law, science and the support of more than 1 million members and online activists to protect the planet’s wildlife and wild places and to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all living things.

New Partners for Community Revitalization - The mission of New Partners for Community Revitalization, Inc. is to bring together diverse stakeholders to advance the revitalization of New York’s communities, with a particular focus on brownfield sites in and proximate to low and moderate income neighborhoods and communities of color.

New York League of Conservation Voters - NYLCV is a non-partisan, policy making and political action organization that works to make environmental protection a top priority with elected officials, decision-makers and the voters by evaluating incumbent performance and endorsing and electing environmental leaders to office in New York State.

New York Ocean Coalition – A group of leading state and national environmental groups calling for better management of one of New York’s most important natural resources.

Time Out From Testing - A statewide coalition of parent, educator, business, community and civil rights organizations in New York State committed to a “time-out” from excessive and high stakes exams. TOFT cals for a comprehensive review of the regents exams and state-initiated standardized tests and the impact they have had on children, schools, and communities.

WeAct for Environmental Justice - West Harlem Environmental Action, Inc. (WE ACT) is a non-profit, community-based, environmental justice organization dedicated to building community power to fight environmental racism and improve environmental health, protection and policy in communities of color.

Workforce Development Institute - WDI’s mission is to improve the lives of working families across New York State by providing workforce intelligence and programs in economic development, education and training, cultural enrichment, family support, and disabled and dislocated workers services. WDI is host to the New York State Apollo Alliance.
